2Midi creates an exact copy of a MOD file in MIDI format (as long as there are enough MIDI channels available) by giving the MIDI file all the information for effects, volume, instruments, etc.

2Midi gives you the option to export songs as samplers in several different formats, such as WAV, IFF, PAT, XI, SD2, or DLS. It also optimizes the MIDI file by deleting silenced notes, using shared channels, and other automatic optimizations that make the MIDI file as small as possible without affecting its quality.
